Welcome to Dancing Horse Hill

Dancing Horse Hill is an equine boarding, lesson and training facility. We are located on the rolling hills of western Wisconsin on the bluffs above the Eau Galle River near the village of Elmwood, Wisconsin. We welcome visitors by appointment at all times.

Dancing Horse Hill offers both pasture and box stall board. Click on Boarding for details.

Training is available from our resident trainer and co-owner John Hasler. He will work with you to train or retrain your horse in proper ground manners, preparation for saddle training, or loading. Click on Training for details.

Lessons for adults and children are available. Fundamentals of balanced riding for English and Western riding as well as horse care and foal training instruction is available. Jumping training for both post and rail jumps and on our farm cross country course is also available. Click on Lessons for details.

At Dancing Horse Hill we make all the jump equipment we use for lessons and our annual eventing competition. Our schooling jumps are made from treated wood with durable construction for long service. We offer treated jump poles as well. We take orders for custom items as well, both for stadium jumps and cross country jumps. Click on Jump Equipment for details.

Since the early 1990s Dancing Horse Hill has hosted an annual eventing schooling show each summer. For details about the show this year click on Annual Horse Show.
